Infused with Cornish saffron grown on the Roseland peninsula, probably one of the world’s rarest and most expensive botanical.
20,000 individual crocus flowers were planted, harvested and their ‘Saffron’ stigmas plucked all by modern day "Crocurs" Brian and Margaret Eyers.
This saffron adds a beautifully delicate colour and depth of flavor to the gin, complimented with fragrant, exotic notes from the rose petal and pistachio.
Southwestern Distillery is an independent, family company handcrafting Tarquin’s Gin and Cornish Pastis in tiny batches, inspired by its beautiful surroundings in north Cornwall
