This vodka makes a deliciously savoury bloody mary!
The additional of six other botanicals alongside the wasabi makes this so much more than just 'hot'. Alongside the wasabi is a citrus note from yuzu. Delicious over ice but there's no beating a perfectly-made bloody mary!
The vodka is distilled in traditional copper alquitar stills that have been used in alcohol production for centuries. Invented by the Moors, these pot stills run a slow, even distillation and produce a very fine grade spirit measuring around 85% ABV.
After gently grating the local wasabi and mixing in the botanicals, they are added to the grain spirit and they macerate for some time to release their essential oils. The vodka is then carefully redistilled removing the harsh heads and weak tails, keeping only the pure hearts for the vodka.
