Fresh, juicy, unoaked Sangiovese from this excellent Montepulciano estate.
Bright cherry fruit on the nose with a hint of spiciness. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and youthful with red cherry, a touch of plum and a peppery, spicy finish.
After hand-harvesting of the grapes, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 25°C for about 10 days. Medium maceration on the skins. Malolactic fermentation in steel vats.

Today, overseen by Bruna Baroncini, the company produces authentic classics from Tuscany, including the Podere Torre Terza estate in San Gimignano and Fattoria Querciarossa in Maremma. They also source the Il Faggeto wines from Montepulciano.
