In a Nutshell

A light and fresh Valpolicella style red.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red in colour. The perfume is fresh and fruity, with lots of cherry fruit. Flavours of sweet cherry and chocolate with a smooth and supple drinkability, make this wine an easy drinking delight.

Production Notes

The grapes are fermented at cool temperatures to preserve the aromatic compounds of the grapes, in stainless steel tanks for seven days. After fermentation, the wine spends a further four months maturing in stainless steel before bottling.

Surprisingly good wine for the price: soft tannins and plenty of fruit without being too ‘jammy’. Pairs well with a variety of food. Slight chilling emphasises the depth of fruit.
