The wine is dark ruby red in colour, with aromas of raspberries and hints of cocoa. The palate has a juicy core of red cherry and plum, with smooth tannins.

Production Notes
The grapes are hand harvested and quickly transported to the winery, where the fruit were destemmed and transferred into tanks. Fermentation lasted about 3 weeks with gentle pump-overs twice a day. After pressing, the wine was put into large old oak barrels (up to 60 years old) for malolactic fermentation. Afterwards the wine was racked for a final time and went through gentle filtration before bottling.
