Wine Club: Drinking in Moderation

Wednesday 26th January 2022, 6pm

Our wine club is starting 2022 with moderation – of the budget! Cat has chosen a selection of six moderately priced wines that we will be exploring over the course of six weeks.

There will be a focus on some cracking fireside reds and in true Toscanaccio fashion most of the wines will be Italian. Cat has chosen six wines she thinks punch well above their weight so join us for an in depth exploration of great wine!

How does it work?

Our wine club has been running since May 2020 and meets every Wednesday evening at 6pm over Zoom. Each week we taste one wine together and Cat will run through an introduction to the grape variety(ies) and style.

There is then plenty of opportunity to ask questions – whatever is on your mind. Cat can’t promise to be able to answer the deeper meaning of life but she’s pretty good at most things wine.

If you like wine and want to know a bit more, these tastings are for you – they’re relaxed, informal and fun. The tasting lasts about half an hour giving you time to then head off and prepare some dinner to enjoy with the rest of your wine, though many of the group stick around for a second glass and a bit of a chat.

How do I join?

You can sign up for the full six weeks before the series starts, or once a series is underway you can join us for a week by buying that week’s bottle. Just leave us your email address and we’ll send over details to join our Zoom tasting at 6pm on Wednesday.

The series:

12th January – I Muri Negroamaro

19th January – Terrazze della Luna Chardonnay

26th January – Tuscan red

2nd February – North Italian fizz

9th February – Spanish red

16th February – Marche red

Adding this product to the basket will give you access to the next tasting.
