Ananto Bobal Rose Utiel-Requena DOP
2019
In a Nutshell
Organic rosé from Manuel Olmo's meticulous vineyards in Utiel-Requena - produced from the indigenous Bobal grape
Tasting Notes
The nose has vibrant raspberry and red berry fruit aromas. There is an appealing creaminess mid-palate, with bright red berry fruit and a gentle hint of spice - all balanced by mouth-watering acidity to give a fresh and crisp finish.
Production Notes
Vineyards are located in the north-west corner of Utiel Requena, 900 metres above sea level. Wines are made from organically grown grapes in vineyards cultivated using natural fertilisers, cover crops, biological control of pests and not using any chemical products that may damage the health of the environment. Grapes are cooled and undergo pre ferment whole bunch maceration before temperature controlled tank fermentation.
