Azienda Agricola Cieck

It was Remo Falconieri - a typewriter designer (albeit the son of a farmer) - who created Azienda Agricola Cieck back in in 1985, based in San Giorgio Canavese, Piedmont, just north of Turin.

Obviously Nebbiolo is what you’d expect in Piedmont, but from a couple thousand bottles of experimental Metodo Classico back in the 80’s, the family now focuses on the ancient, native white variety of Erbaluce, bottling under the tiny - foot of the mountains - DOC of Erbaluce di Caluso.
