Deep ruby red with a garnet tinge in colour, the nose reveals all the elegant and fresh complexity of the fruity and spicy notes that are typical of Sangiovese. It displays a very attractive harmony on the palate, with rich fruit combining with velvety tannins, and an amazingly long finish.

Producer Information

Casisano estate was founded in 1990, and was acquired by the Tommasi family in 2015 after years of searching for an estate that responded to their desire to construct an important, top-quality project in the area.

The Tommasis’ philosophy, especially in Montalcino, is that of upholding the prestige of the region, preserving its identity and seeking to express its potential to the full. Casisano Estate is located on a natural terrace at 480 meters a.s.l. overlooking the southern-eastern area of Montalcino. The estate counts 22 hectares under vines, 9 of which are dedicated to the production of Brunello and 7 to the production of Rosso di Montalcino. The altitude and the great diversity of the soils allow the production of very complex and expressive wines, able to combine elegance and structure.
